Students from Chapman University, CSU Fullerton, UC Irvine, Santa Ana College and others will compete to be recognized for their technical, artistic, and narrative achievements. Student games will be judged by a panel of industry celebrities.
This event is organized and run by volunteers from the professional and academic community in the spirit of friendly competition among the area's students and forging stronger relationships between industry and academia.
Submissions begin on April 6, 2018 at 12:01 a.m. PST and end on April 12, 2018 at 8 a.m. PST. Finalists will be selected based on their one page Executive Summary and 3-5 minute YouTube video submissions.

The IEEE OC Computer Society’s Game Special Interest Group organizes this annual computer game showcase of student projects. Building upon their past success of the 2012 - 2016 Showcase events hosted at Chapman University, UC Irvine, and CSU Fullerton, the 2017 Showcase returns to Chapman University.
Founded in 2006, it is the IEEE Orange County Chapter's special interest group in computer games. It boasts as its members leaders in the OC video game industry and leading academics.
