Biography

Reza Taheri is Professor and Senior Associate Dean of Pharmacy Education at Chapman University School of Pharmacy. Prior to Chapman, he served as the Chief Strategy Officer at RxPrep Inc. Dr. Taheri’s academic career started as a faculty at the Western University of Health Sciences, followed by faculty, Director of Experiential Education, and Chair of the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Outcomes Science at Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy. He then served as the founding Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and later Dean of the School of Pharmacy at West Coast University.

Taheri completed undergraduate education, a Doctor of Pharmacy, and a fellowship in cardiovascular pharmacotherapy at the University of Minnesota. He earned an Executive Master of Business Administration at the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business. Taheri is a certified Emotional Intelligence Coach and certified trainer on a suite of programs through Crucial Learning and The Table Group.

Taheri’s teaching and scholarly contributions center around the development of skills and attributes necessary for effective communication and teamwork as well as leadership skills development.
