students thrive and grow, and the events highlight undergraduate achievements and
encourage intellectual community. CUE is committed to enhancing the undergraduate
experience through scholarly activities and the pursuit of global citizenship.
The Center for Undergraduate Excellence follows the National Council on Undergraduate Research’s definition of undergraduate research as “A mentored investigation or creative inquiry
conducted by undergraduates that seeks to make a scholarly or artistic contribution
to knowledge."
